![]() Welcome to the home of Charlie's Trust. We are a charitable trust, set up in 2008 to work towards the advancement of educational opportunities for children and young people in South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire. It was set up by the parents of Charlie Liversidge who died in April 2008 after being knocked down in a neighbours driveway. For more information on Charlie and what led his parents to set up the trust, please read our "about us" page. Our aimsOur initial aim is to raise £250,000 in order to help build a community hall which will house a feeder nursery for Penny Acres Primary School in Holmesfield. This new building will adjoin St. Swithuns Church in the village and will also double as a community facility for local Scout groups and villagers. Current ActivitiesAmongst the events being organised is a five aside footbal tournament and art auctions to raise money for the trust.
